173.8 Compensation and expenses. A member of the board elected at the annual convention shall be paid a per diem as specified in section 7E.6 and shall be reimbursed for actual and necessary expenses incurred while engaged in official duties. All per diem and expense moneys paid to a member shall be paid from funds of the state fair board.
