216A.95 Duties of board. 1. The governing board or advisory board shall fully participate in the development, planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs to serve low-income communities. 2. The governing board may: a. Own, purchase, and dispose of property necessary for the operation of the community action agency. b. Receive and administer funds and contributions from private or public sources which may be used to support community action programs. c.
