222.66 Transfers — no residency in state or residency unknown — expenses. The transfer to a resource center or a special unit or to the place of residency of a person with an intellectual disability who has no residence in this state or whose residency is unknown, shall be made in accordance with such directions as shall be prescribed by the director and when practicable by employees of the state resource center or the special unit. The actual and necessary expenses of such transfers shall be paid by the department on itemized vouchers sworn to by the claimants and approved by the director and the approved amount is appropriated to the department from any funds in the state treasury not otherwise appropriated.
