§ 222.75

222.75 Delinquent payments — penalty. If a county fails to pay a billed charge within forty-five days from the date the county auditor received the certification statement from the superintendent pursuant to section 222.74, the department may charge the delinquent county a penalty of not greater than one percent per month on and after forty-five days from the date the county auditor received the certification statement until paid.
