225.1 Establishment — definitions. 1. The state psychiatric hospital is established. The hospital shall be especially designed, kept, and administered for the care, observation, and treatment of those persons who are afflicted with abnormal mental conditions. 2. For the purposes of this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires: a. 'Mental health and disability services region' means a mental health and disability services region approved in accordance with section 225C.56. b. 'Regional administrator' means the administrator of a mental health and disability services region, as defined in section 225C.55. c. 'Respondent' means the same as defined in section 229.1.
