227.14 Caring for persons with mental illness from other counties. The regional administrator for a county that does not have proper facilities for caring for persons with mental illness may, with the consent of the department, provide for such care at the expense of the mental health and disability services region in any convenient and proper county or private facility for persons with mental illness which is willing to receive the persons.
