233A.10 Unlawful interference. It shall be unlawful for any parent or other person not a party to the placing of a child in foster care to interfere in any manner or assume or exercise any control over the child or the child’s earnings. The child’s earnings shall be used, held, or otherwise applied for the exclusive benefit of the child, in accordance with section 234.37.
