313.16 Payment of awards or judgments. There is hereby appropriated from the primary road fund to the department a sum sufficient for the purpose of paying any award or judgment to a claimant under chapters 25 and 669 on a claim arising out of activities of the department when such an award cannot be charged to a current appropriation.
