313.23 Reimbursement by city. Payment for the work, including the city’s portion thereof, may in the first instance be made out of the primary road fund. Upon completion of the project, the city shall reimburse the department for the amount so advanced out of the primary road fund, including the city’s portion of the engineering and inspection costs.
