321G.14 Penalty. 1. A person who violates this chapter or a rule of the commission or director of transportation is guilty of a simple misdemeanor. 2. Chapter 232 shall have no application in the prosecution of offenses which are committed in violation of this chapter and which constitute simple misdemeanors.
