327D.190 Damages by fire. Any corporation operating a railway shall be liable for all damages sustained by any person on account of loss of or injury to the person’s property occasioned by fire set out or caused by the operation of such railway. Such damages may be recovered by the party injured in the manner set out in sections 327G.6 through 327G.8 and to the same extent, save as to double damages.
