455A.9 Fees — publications. 1. The department may establish a schedule of fees for subscriptions to publications produced by the department, including periodicals. However, this section does not apply to application forms and materials intended for general distribution which explain departmental programs or duties. 2. Fees shall be based on the amount required to recover the reasonable costs of producing a publication, including costs relating to preparing, printing, publishing, and distributing the publication. 91 Acts, ch 268, §235; 2018 Acts, ch 1026, §141
