456.8 Cooperation. The state geologist shall cooperate with the United States geological survey, with other federal and state organizations, and with adjoining state surveys in the making of topographic maps and the study of geologic problems of the state when, in the opinion of the state geologist, such cooperation will result in profit to the state.
