456A.30 Federal assistance for outdoor recreation. The legislature finds that the state of Iowa and its subdivisions should enjoy the benefits of federal assistance programs for the planning and development of the outdoor recreation resources of the state, including the acquisition of lands and waters and interests therein. It is the purpose of this section and sections 456A.31 through 456A.34 to provide authority to enable the state of Iowa and its subdivisions to participate in the benefits of such programs.
