461A.16 Landscape architect. The commission may call upon the Iowa state university of science and technology for the services of at least one competent landscape architect, engineer, or gardener, who shall, under the direction of the commission, proceed to work with the commission in the improvement of the state property under the control of the commission. The president of the Iowa state university of science and technology shall, when called upon, designate the landscape architect, engineer, or gardener, as the case may be, who shall work with the commission.
