462A.13 Penalty. 1. Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter, or any of the rules adopted under this chapter, for which another penalty is not otherwise specifically provided, is guilty of a simple misdemeanor. 2. Chapter 232 shall have no application in the prosecution of offenses committed in violation of this chapter or rules and regulations which are adopted under the authority of this chapter which constitute simple misdemeanors.
