468.324 Duty to accept. It shall be the duty of the governing body of any city to accept control of and thereafter to administer a drainage district properly transferred to the city, commencing on the date specified in the resolution of the county board of supervisors certified to the governing body as provided in section 468.323, or at such later date as may be agreed to by the county board upon request of the governing body.
