481A.58 Trapping birds or poisoning animals. No person except those acting under the authority of the director shall capture or take, or attempt to capture or take, any game bird with any trap, snare, or net, nor shall any person use any poison, any medicated or poisoned food, or any other substance for the killing, capturing, or taking of any game bird or animal.
