499A.19 Election of directors. 1. The directors shall be elected by the members of the cooperative. The election of officers shall be made by the board of directors. The annual election of the directors shall be held during the month of January of each year, and they shall serve until their successors are elected and qualified. 2. The board of directors shall elect as officers, a president, a vice president, a secretary, and a treasurer. 3. It is the duty of the secretary to keep the records of the cooperative, and a correct list of the members, and all such records shall be submitted to any member upon demand at any reasonable time.
