505.24 Sale of policy term information by consumer reporting agency. 1. For purposes of this section, unless the context otherwise requires, 'consumer reporting agency' means any person that for monetary fees, dues, or on a cooperative nonprofit basisregularly engages in whole or in part in the practice of assembling or evaluating consumercredit information or other information on consumers for the purpose of furnishing consumerreports to third parties and that uses any means or facility of interstate commerce for thepurpose of preparing or furnishing consumer reports. 2. A consumer reporting agency shall not provide or sell data or lists that include any information that in whole or in part was submitted in conjunction with an insurance inquiryabout a consumer’s credit information or a request for a credit report or insurance score.Information submitted in conjunction with an insurance inquiry about a consumer includes,but is not limited to, the expiration dates of an insurance policy or any other information thatmay identify time periods during which a consumer’s insurance may expire and the termsand conditions of the consumer’s insurance coverage. 3. dates of an insurance policy or any other information thatmay identify time periods during which a consumer’s insurance may expire and the termsand conditions of the consumer’s insurance coverage. 3.
