505.9 Ex officio receiver. The commissioner of insurance henceforth shall be the receiver and liquidating officer for any insurance company, association, or insurance carrier, and shall serve withoutcompensation other than the stated compensation as commissioner of insurance, but thecommissioner shall be allowed clerical and other expenses necessary for the conduct ofsuch receivership.
