507F.11 Cybersecurity event — producers of record. If a cybersecurity event involves nonpublic information that is in the possession, custody, or control of a licensee that is an insurer, or in the possession, custody, or control of theinsurer’s third-party service provider, and for which a consumer accessed the insurer’sservices through an independent insurance producer, the insurer shall notify the insuranceproducer of record of each consumer affected by the cybersecurity event no later than thedate on which notice is provided to affected consumers pursuant to section 507F.7.
