510.13 Payment to third-party administrator. If an insurer uses the services of a third-party administrator under the terms of a written contract as required in section 510.12, payment to the third-party administrator of anypremiums or charges for insurance by or on behalf of the insured shall be deemed to havebeen received by the insurer, and the payment of return premiums or claims by the insurerto the third-party administrator shall not be deemed payment to the insured or claimantuntil the payments are received by the insured or claimant.
