511.27 Commissioner as process agent. Every life insurance company and association shall, before receiving a certificate to do business in this state or any renewal of a certificate to do business in this state, file in theoffice of the commissioner of insurance a power of attorney and an agreement in writing thatservice of notice or process of any kind may be made on the commissioner that shall be asvalid, binding, and effective for all purposes as if served upon the company according to thelaws of this or any other state, and waiving all claim or right of error due to the filing of thepower of attorney and the agreement regarding service of notice or process.
