512B.26 Examination of societies — no adverse publications. 1. The commissioner, or the commissioner’s designee, may examine a domestic, foreign, or alien society transacting or applying for admission to transact business in this state inthe same manner as authorized for examination of a domestic, foreign, or alien insurer.Requirements of notice and an opportunity to respond before findings are made public asprovided in the laws regulating insurers are also applicable to the examination of a society. 2.
