529.4 Uniformity of construction and application. 1. The provisions of this chapter shall be liberally construed to effectuate its remedial purposes. Civil remedies under this chapter shall be supplemental and not mutually exclusive. The civil remedies do not preclude and are not precluded by other provisions oflaw. 2. The provisions of this chapter shall be applied and construed to effectuate its general purpose to make uniform the law with respect to the subject of this chapter among statesenacting the law and to make the reporting requirements regarding financial transactionsunder Iowa law uniform with the reporting requirements regarding financial transactionsunder federal law. 3.
