537.3624 Enforcement. 1. The provisions of this part are subject to the powers and functions of the administrator as provided in article 6 of this chapter and to the debt collection practices as provided inarticle 7 of this chapter. However, section 537.6113, subsection 2, does not apply to violationsof this part. 2. If a court finds in an action brought by the administrator pursuant to section 537.6113 that it is proven that a lessor has intentionally acted in bad faith in its performance under thispart, the lessor is subject to a civil penalty of not less than one hundred dollars nor more thanone thousand dollars for each violation. However, no more than one penalty may be imposedin any one action against a lessor for repeated violations of the same provision.
