542B.21 Suspension, revocation, or reprimand. The board shall have the power by a five-sevenths vote of the entire board to suspend for a period not exceeding two years, or to revoke the certificate of licensure of, or to reprimandany licensee who is found guilty of the following acts or offenses: 1. Fraud in procuring a certificate of licensure.2. Professional incompetency.3. Knowingly making misleading, deceptive, untrue, or fraudulent representations in the practice of the licensee’s profession or engaging in unethical conduct or practice harmful tothe public. Proof of actual injury need not be established. 4. Habitual intoxication or addiction to the use of drugs.5. Conviction of a felony under the laws of the United States, of any state or possession of the United States, or of any other country. A copy of the record of conviction or plea ofguilty is conclusive evidence. 6. Revocation or suspension of licensure to engage in the practice of engineering or land surveying, or other disciplinary action by the licensing authority of another state, territory, orcountry.
