544A.25 Applicant — civil rights — moral character. 1. An applicant is not ineligible for licensure because of age, citizenship, sex, race, religion, marital status, or national origin, although the application form may requirecitizenship information. Character references may be required. 2. The board may consider the following aspects when investigating an applicant’s good moral character: a. An applicant’s conviction for commission of a felony, but only if the felony relates directly to the practice of architecture or to the applicant’s honesty. b.
