548.105 Certificate of registration. 1. Upon compliance by the applicant with the requirements of this chapter, the secretary shall issue and deliver a certificate of registration to the applicant. The certificate of registration shall be issued under the signature and seal of the secretary. The certificateof registration shall show the name and business address and, if a corporation, the stateof incorporation, or if a partnership, the state in which the partnership is organized andthe names of the general partners, as specified by the secretary, of the person claimingownership of the mark. The certificate of registration shall also show the date claimed forthe first use of the mark anywhere and the date claimed for the first use of the mark inthis state, the class of goods or services and a description of the goods or services on or inconnection with which the mark is used, a description of the mark, the registration date,and the term of the registration. 2. A certificate of registration issued by the secretary under this section or a copy thereof duly certified by the secretary shall be admissible in evidence as competent and sufficientproof of the registration of such mark in ation issued by the secretary under this section or a copy thereof duly certified by the secretary shall be admissible in evidence as competent and sufficientproof of the registration of such mark in an action or judicial proceeding in any court in thisstate.
