555B.3 Action for abandonment — jurisdiction. A real property owner not requesting notification by the sheriff as provided in section 555B.2 may bring an action alleging abandonment in the court within the county where thereal property is located. The action shall be tried as an equitable action. Unless commencedas a small claim, the petition shall be presented to a district judge.
