563.11 Disputes — delay — bonds. No dispute between adjoining owners as to the amount to be paid by one or the other, by reason of any of the matters provided in this chapter, shall delay the execution of theprovisions of the same, if the party on whom the claim is made shall enter into bonds, withsecurity, to the satisfaction of the clerk of the district court of the proper county, conditionedthat that party shall pay to the claimant whatever may be found to be due on the settlement ofthe matter between them, either in a court of justice or elsewhere; upon the presentation ofsuch a bond, the clerk shall endorse approval thereon, and retain the same until demandedby the party for whose benefit it is executed.
