573.20 Converting property into money. When it appears that the unpaid portion of the contract price for the public improvement, or a part thereof, is represented in whole or in part, by property other than money, or if adeposit has been made in lieu of a surety, the court shall have jurisdiction thereover, and maycause the same to be sold, under such procedure as it may deem just and proper, and disbursethe proceeds as in other cases.
