578A.11 Fire, flood, or other catastrophic event damage or destruction. If the self-service storage facility is damaged or destroyed by a fire, flood, or other catastrophic event to the extent that the leased space is rendered unusable, the operatorshall make a good faith effort to notify the occupant of the event and the occupant mayterminate the rental agreement by giving the required notice in the rental agreement. If theoccupant terminates the rental agreement under this section, the occupant shall remove allcontents of the leased space as soon as is reasonably practicable.
