585.1 Publication prior to passage. No bill which seeks to legalize the official proceedings of any board of supervisors, board of school directors, or city council, or which seeks to legalize any warrant or bond issuedby any of said official bodies, shall be placed on passage in either house or senate untilsuch bill as introduced shall have been published in full in some newspaper published withinthe territorial limits of the public corporation whose proceedings, warrants, or bonds areproposed to be legalized, nor until proof of such publication shall have been filed with thechief clerk of the house, and with the secretary of the senate, and a brief minute of such filingentered on the respective journals.
