589.12 Sheriffs’ deeds. A sheriff’s deed executed more than ten years earlier which purports to sustain the record title is not ineffectual on account of the failure of the record to show that any of the steps inobtaining the judgment or in the sale of the property were complied with. The proceedingsare legalized as if the record showed that the law has been complied with.
