591.12 Effect of foregoing statutes. Sections 591.1 through 591.11 shall not affect pending litigation and shall not operate to revive rights or claims previously barred, and shall not permit an action to be brought ormaintained upon any claim or cause of action which was barred by any statute which was inforce prior to July 4, 1955.
