594A.9 Merged areas before January 1, 1972. All proceedings taken after January 1, 1969 and prior to January 1, 1972, purporting to provide for the establishment, organization, formation, and changes in the boundaries ofmerged areas under the provisions of chapter 260C, and not heretofore declared invalid byany court, are legalized, validated, and confirmed. The foregoing shall not be construedto affect any litigation that may be pending July 1, 1972 involving the establishment,organization, formation, or changes in the boundaries of any such merged area.
