633.144 Mortgages and judgments. Judgments rendered by any court in the state of Iowa and mortgages belonging to an estate, trust, or to a person under conservatorship may, without prior order of court, bereleased, discharged or assigned, in whole or in part as to any particular property, and deedsmay be executed in performance of real estate contracts entered into before the creation ofthe estate, trust, or conservatorship, by any foreign fiduciary, receiver, referee, assignee orcommissioner, or by any other person acting in a fiduciary capacity appointed by a court ofrecord of any foreign state or country, where a statement is filed by said fiduciary that nofiduciary, receiver, referee, assignee, or commissioner has been appointed and qualified inthis state. Such release, satisfaction, discharge, assignment or deed may be made withoutany order of court in any manner or by any instrument which would be valid and effectiveif made by a like officer qualified under the law of this state.
