633.355 Delivery of specific devise after twelve months. Unless the court, for cause shown, determines that the possession of the personal representative shall continue for a longer period, the personal representative shall deliverall specifically devised property to the devisees entitled thereto after the expiration of twelvemonths from the date of appointment of the personal representative. This section shallnot preclude the court from directing that such delivery be made before such period hasexpired, nor shall the personal representative be prevented from delivering such property atan earlier time.
