Judgments, money, bank bills, and other things in action may be levied upon by the officer under an attachment in the same manner as levies are made under execution, except thatnotice of such levy shall be given as in levies by attachment, and after judgment such propertyshall be sold, appropriated, or transferred as provided for in the chapter on executions.
