651.26 Payment of proceeds less than ten thousand dollars to minor. If a minor for whom no conservator has been appointed is entitled to proceeds from a partition of property by sale in an amount not exceeding ten thousand dollars, the court mayorder the proceeds paid to the minor’s parent, guardian, or an adult with whom the minorresides, for the use of the minor.
