657A.6A Receiver — prohibited acts. Notwithstanding section 657A.10, it shall be unlawful, and a receiver may be held liable for actual damages as determined by a court, for entering a residential property that is notabandoned for the purpose of forcing, intimidating, harassing, or coercing a lawful occupantof the property to vacate in order to render the property vacant and abandoned, and it shall beunlawful to otherwise force, intimidate, harass, or coerce a lawful occupant of a residentialproperty to vacate so the property may be deemed vacant and abandoned.
