692A.119 Sex offender registry fund. A sex offender registry fund is established as a separate fund within the state treasury under the control of the department. The fund shall consist of moneys received as a resultof the imposition of the penalty imposed under section 692A.110 and other funds allocatedfor purposes of establishing and maintaining the sex offender registry, conducting researchand analysis related to sex crimes and offenders, and to perform other duties required underthis chapter.
