717.4A Livestock in immediate need of sustenance — livestock remediation fund. The department may utilize the moneys deposited into the livestock remediation fund pursuant to section 459.501 to pay for any expenses associated with providing sustenanceto or the disposition of the livestock pursuant to a court order entered pursuant to section717.3 or 717.5. The department shall utilize moneys from the fund only to the extent thatthe department determines that expenses cannot be timely paid by utilizing the availableprovisions of sections 717.4 and 717.5. The department shall deposit any unexpended andunobligated moneys in the fund.
