804.27 Conveying prisoner to jail — fees and expenses. Every officer or person who shall arrest anyone with a warrant or order issued by any court or officer, or who shall be required to convey a prisoner to such jail on an order ofcommitment, may be allowed the same fees and expenses as provided for in case of suchservices by the sheriff.
