117A.070 Application for military -overseas ballot. An application for a military -overseas ballot is timely if received by the close of business hours seven (7) days before the election. An application for a military -overseas ballot for a primary, whether or not timely, is effective as an application for a military -overseas ballot for the regular election. If an application is received after seven (7) days before an election, the applicant shall be informed of his or her ability to utilize a federal write -in absentee ballot pursuant to KRS 117A.100.
