156.4975 Definitions for KRS 156.496, 156.4975, and 156.4977. As used in KRS 156.496, 156.4975, and 156.4977: (1) 'Core component' means one (1) of the activities or services for children and their families provided by a family resource or youth services center required by KRS 156.496; (2) 'Health services' means pre ventive and health care services provided in a school setting and includes but is not limited to supplemental classroom instructional services related to health by an advanced practice registered nurse, registered nurse, or licensed practical nurse; (3) 'Optional component' means one (1) of the activities or services provided for children or their families as part of the implementation of a family resource or youth services center in addition to those required by KRS 156.496 and designed to satisfy unique c ommunity needs; and (4) 'Secretary' means the secretary of the Cabinet for Health and Family Services.
