162.150 City may erect school buildings. Any city may establish and erect school buildings and necessary appurtenances within the corporate limits under the provisions of KRS 162.160 to 162.280, for the purpose of supplying the board of education of the independent district embracing the city wit h adequate buildings necessary to carry out its duties and powers.
