186A. 550 Authority for administrative regulations to conform to federal requirement of uniformity, if imposed. Notwithstanding the provisions of KRS 186A.510, 186A.520, and 186A.530, if the United States Department of Transportation requires a uniform method for titling salvage and junk vehicles, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet shall promulgate administrative regulations, pursuant to KRS Chapter 13A, to bring the provisions of KRS 186A.510, 186A.520, and 186A.530 into compliance with federal law.
